Each layer of the pipe is permanently bonded together by intermediate adhesive layers. An overlapped ultrasonic longitudinal welding technique guarantees maximum safety and durability. The thickness of the aluminium selected for MLC pipes is exactly adapted to the compressive strength requirements and bending capability. The fine level of roughness (0.0004mm) of the inner plastic layer causes less water pressure drop, while incrustation and corrosion are prevented in normal use.
